Just Say Yes: Skiing in Saalbach, Austria

Back in April last year, I took the biggest leap (yes, leap!) out of my comfort zone I have ever taken and went on the ski trip with my senior school.
None of my friends were going and I didn't really know anyone too well who was going on the trip. I can't even explain how scared and nervous I was!
However, I did end up having such a brilliant week!

Portsmouth

So you probably know that I live in Portsmouth..
A few weeks back me and my sister took a drive up on top of Portsdown Hill, and here you can see right across Portsmouth and get some stunning pictures if it's a sunny clear day! So I took my camera along..

And then I left it in the car with my sister whilst I used my phone to take some panorama pictures and this happened.. haha, cute though.

 Portsmouth in the day,

 and Portsmouth at night.

Then a few days ago, I went out for the first bike ride I have been on in ages because it was a lovely day.

I was out for 2 and a half hours and in that time I managed to get lost in a car park (took me 10 minutes to find my way out..), somehow cycle to the other side of Portsmouth without even knowing how on earth I got there, get back to where I live (after getting lost in the car park again on the way back) then end up in the town centre after cycling through the ferry ports.. I really don't know how I do it!
But yes, I took my camera again ang I got some good snaps!

I then tested the zoom on my camera, and safe to say I was impressed!

Now I am like any girl really, I hate going down subways! But there is one subway in Portsmouth that was painted nicely by some professional artists and the community and the pictures are so beautfiul and it makes it so peaceful down there! Well up until a few weeks ago that is..
For so long it had (surprisingly) not ever been vandalised in the few years it had been there, but then it was closed off for a while whilst some work was being done to make it safer and in that time, stupid teens took that time as an opportunity to graffiti :(
But it still doesn't stop me taking pictures of the amazing art work!

I've missed going on my bike so much! It's good exercise and I get to explore where I live and find more places that I didn't know existed!

I hope that was interesting for any of your who live else where and have never been to Portsmouth! Is Portsmouth what you expected from these pictures or different? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time beautifuls,
xx

Mother's Day Meal Out

Hello yous!

As most of you probably know, it was Mothering Sunday on 30th March.
Now usually, most people would but their mums nice gifts and flowers and things, but no. My mum is the most difficult person to buy for! She doesn't like jewlery, there aren't any CDs she wants and she has plenty of cloths.
So instead, this year, we picked her up from work at 8:15pm and took her straight out for a meal at Harbour Lights Beef Eater in North Harbour, Portsmouth and yes, I took my camera along..

For starters I had Salt and Peppered Prawns with some sauce (I can't remember what it's called though!)

This was actually quite yummy (minus the salt and the pepper). I am a HUGE lover of prawns..

Picking a main course is always easy for me! Being the fussy eater and pasta lover I am, instead of sitting there and reading through the whole menu, I simply skip straight to the pasta and salad section (and then get very disapointed when some restaurants don't have it).

This time, I had a Chicken and Bacon Salad with Lemon and Herb dressing..

Now this I must say was PANTS! It was honestly the worst salad I have ever had.

Then for desert.. I had a Caramel and Popcorn sundae, and wow, this was BEAUTIFUL!

So that's what I treated my mum to on Mother's Day!

I'd love to know what you got for your mums or where you took her for a meal, let me know in the comments!

Until next time beautifuls,
xx

Slight Change In Blog Posts.. PHOTOGRAPHY

Hello yous!

So I started my blog just over a year ago, but I haven't really kept it up very well.. This is partly because I am very busy with college work and other commitments but also partly because I simply don't know what to blog about! I get really stuck for post ideas and every time I have an idea, it's from somebody else's blog and I don't want to seem like I'm copying them so I don't do it..
But I have had a new idea!

Do you ever go somewhere, like a zoo for example, where you take pictures of every animal you see, get home, put them on your computer and then never really look at them again?
Well I do that all the time! So I had this idea..

At Christmas, I got a new camera, a pretty posh one at that. I got the Olympus SZ-15 and it really does take amazing pictures! So where ever I go, I take it with me and I take lots of pictures, but then I never do anything with them pictures.
So I'm going to start writing blog posts of where I go and put the best pictures into a post for you all to see. At least then the pictures wont sit on my laptop never getting looked at..

I will still do other blog posts too like I started, but doing this will mean I get a use out of my camera and my pictures and I will post more regularly!

Let me know what you think of this idea in the comments, Id love to know!
The first photography post will be going up within the next few days (hopefully tomorrow!).

Until next time beautifuls,
xx

Hello 2014

So once again, it's a new year.
I feel a bit lame because it's a whole month into the year now and I'm only just writing this post..

Anyway, 2013 was a great year for me. I got to do so many different things and visit so many different places and it was just amazing. So I am hoping this year will be even better!

So far this year:

I went to help out run a stall for our charity at the London Boat Show!
The show personally for me wasn't the most interesting thing because I'm no boat lover, but some of the boats were incredible! I even got to see James Corden! (little fangirl over here..)

My braces came off after a long 3 years!

and I turned 17!
A surprise birthday meal in London with my best friend, the cutest little surprise present from every involved with the charity AND a meal with my family on my actual birthday! I pretty much had a whole birthday weekend and it was the best birthday I have ever had.

My amazing snowboarding cake my mum made, aw
The end of 2013, my anxiety started getting worse again so it stopped me from doing quite a few things, but this year I am determined to fight it and not to let it ruin my year!
I already have so much planned for this year!

More shows in London to promote our charity.

McBusted on tour!

Water sports in Zell am See

More fundraising!

And that's just some of the things! I hope to do so much more this year and experience so many more different things such as go to Summer In The City, visit more places in the UK and even start driving lessons (watch out!).
I also have a secret project I'm working on so keep a watch out on here for it!

I'm really excited to see what this year brings!
Let me know what you've got planned for this year too! I'd love to know!

Until next time beautifuls,
xx

7 Day No Make-up Challenge

Whether it's just a little bit, or whether they plaster the face in it, pretty much every girl loves to wear make-up. We all just seem to feel more comfortable in it, whether that's to do with taking away our blemishes or just that we cover up our true selves because we don't like it, who knows.
But I wanted to prove to all you girls out there that we don't need make-up, we can be beautiful just be being ourselves!

I am like all you girls out there, I wear make-up on a daily bases and pretty much cover myself up. I feel prettier in it, I feel more comfortable and I find a lot more people talk to me and take interest in me when I do wear it, so to do this challenge, it was a tough decision for me!
But I did it for you girls, to prove a point.

Starting from Saturday 12th October, I put my make-up in the cupboard and didn't touch it.
I went to dancing with no make-up, I went to cadets and I even went to college every single day with no make-up (which was fab because my friend made some good looking boys sit with us the one week I didn't look great at all..). I felt uncomfortable for the first few days, but by the end of the 7 days, I actually debated whether I'd go back to make-up or not!
My skin felt so much fresher, I had so many less spots than usual and it was so much less effort, I could have an extra half hour in bed!

Everyday, I took a picture to prove I really did it.

Don't be afraid to show who you really are, because everyone of you reading this right now are naturally beautiful.

Try this challenge, even if it's just for one day. Step out of your comfort zone and hide your make-up for a day, or 7! See how much better you feel without that stuff on your face clogging up your paws and let people see your natural beauty, because it's there whether you can see it or not!

Don't feel like you have to hide yourself.

You reading this, you're beautiful!

Until next time beautiful's,
xx
